Naples, Fla. (May 17, 2021) – Naples Soap Company, a producer of skin and hair care products made with natural and organic ingredients, recently donated 10% of online sales during National Nurses Week to the Lorenzo Walker Technical College in Naples, Florida.
“The past year has brought to light the unsung heroes in the healthcare industry,” said Deanna Wallin, founder and CEO of Naples Soap Company. “They put their own lives at risk to save the lives of others. It’s a remarkable profession, and one that I was proud to be a part of.”
Wallin selected The Lorenzo Walker Technical College to receive this donation because she earned her nursing degree from the school in 1990. Wallin worked as a hospital floor nurse and in home-healthcare for 15 years before founding Naples Soap Company. Wallin’s mother worked as a nurse, and Wallin’s daughter recently graduated from medical school.
The Naples Soap Company donation was earmarked to help provide tuition assistance for aspiring nurses.
